Trade-in Policy and Credits
We accept 40 books per family per day. You will receive up to 1/4 the coverprice in store credit. We reserve the right to reject any books due to condition or content. We also reserve the right to label any books which have not been accepted for trade. Reasons for rejection are: loose pages, broken spines, water damage, mangled covers, mustiness, stains, etc. We do not accept discount publishers, library books, computer books, dated books, textbooks, or non-current hardbacks for any type of credit. No drop offs, please. We ask that you trade your books before you begin to shop and that you be here while your credit is being processed. There is a $.10 fee for each book you take in trade.

Credit:
Romance Credit: Series Romances are published monthly, dated and numbered. You will receive Romance credit for these books. This credit is good only toward the purchase of used series romance.

Due to speace limitations, we cannot accept for trade Series Romances below the numbers listed:

We will always accept the following classic romance authors:

General Credit: Mysteries, horror, etc., are considered General Credit. This credit will trade for any used books in the shop except for Science Fiction, Hot Books or Audio Books.

Special Credit: You will receive Special Credit by trading in Hot Books, Audio Books, or Science Fiction. Hot books are those published within the last four months. This type of credit is good for any used paperback in the shop except Cash Sales books.

Note: Series Romances and some men's adventures must be in the current month. Reprints will be hot for their current month.
